동물보호에 대한 국민의식조사(MAFRA, 2019)의 입양에 관련된 조사에 의하면, 입양하기 힘든 이유로 질병·행동 문제가 43.1%로 가장 높게 조사되어 반려견의 질병·행동 문제가 입양성공의 중요한 요인이 되었다. 농림축산검역본부가 운영하는 동물보호관리시스템 홈페이지에 유기나 유실된 반려견에 대하여 공고된 2019년 자료 10만여 건을 크롤링(crawling)하여 정형·비정형 자료를 분석하였다. 이 홈페이지에서 내려 받은 자료들 중에서 비고(특성)란에는 반려견의 질병이나 행동 문제 등에 관한 사항이 기술되어 있다. 질병과 행동에 관한 text 내용을 정형화하기 위하여 코퍼스(corpus)를 만들어 질병·행동에 관한 감성사전을 구축하였다. 감성사전을 이용하여 반려견의 질병이나 행동 문제에 관한 속성변수인 Behavior와 Disease를 생성해 사용하였다. 다중로지스틱회귀모형을 이용하여 유기나 유실된 반려견에 대한 입양성공확률모형을 구축하였다. 지역별로 구축한 입양성공확률모형과 입양성공 오즈비를 비교·분석하였다. 이 분석결과를 이용하여 성공요인을 분석하고 입양성공확률에 대한 모의실험을 시행하였다. 성공요인 분석과 모의실험 결과에 근거하여 지역별로 입양성공확률을 향상시키기 위한 방안을 제시하였다.
