초록보기

가까운 미래에 공교육이 사라지고, 교사 없는 맞춤형 학습시대가 열릴 것이라는 전망과 달리 미래교육담론은 반성적이고 자기성찰적인 교사상을 강조하며 학습자주도교육을 조력하는 교사를 제시한다. 본 연구는 미래교육 담론에서 강조하는 학습자상이나 교사상이 담론의 내적 논리와 충돌하는 점을 연구의 출발점으로 삼는다. 미래교육 담론에서 강조하는 학습자주도교육은 학습자의 자율성을 강조하지만 신행동주의와 신자유주의의 영향, 그리고 기억교육의 경시 현상과의 관련 속에서 학습자의 자율성은 제한된다. 또한 미래교육 담론에 전제된 이상화된 미래상은 현재의 교육을 왜곡할 위험이 있다. 본 연구는 미래를 향하는 교육을 위해서는 교육이 현재에 뿌리내려야 함을 논구한다. 나아가 현재적 교육을 위한 교사와 학생의 교육적 관계를 교사의 권위와 사랑 개념을 토대로 고찰한다. 교육현장은 물론 교원양성과정에 이미 상당한 영향을 미치고 있는 미래교육 담론에 대한 비판적 고찰을 바탕으로 미래교사를 양성하는 교원양성기관에서 숙고되어야 할 교사-학생의 교육적 관계를 제언한다.
